This 2014 Crnogorski cabernet dry red wine from Plantaze is produced in the Lake Skadar Valley of Montenegro. This wine is a dark ruby red color with noticeable sweetish aromas of blackberry, blackcurrants, sour cherry, cherry and hints of black pepper on the nose. On the palate the wine is well-rounded with the distinct fruitiness of ripe, mature, red fruit giving it a sweetish, fresh aftertaste. Soft, abundant tannins give the wine fullness and lively acids make it very crispy. Food pairing: Dishes of red meat, smoked prosciutto, fatty river and lake fish, grilled white meats and generally all types of grilled and roasted meats. Mature, hard cheese. 60% cabernet, 15% vranac, 15% merlot. ABV 13.5%
